Terms and Conditions for SlideMaker
Welcome to SlideMaker. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the SlideMaker website, application, and related services (the "Platform"). By using our Platform, you agree to these Terms.
Last updated: May 14, 20261. Description of SlideMaker
SlideMaker is an AI-powered carousel workflow platform that helps creators, educators, social media managers, and businesses generate, edit, organize, schedule, and export slide-based social content.
The Platform may help users create brand or product profiles, store content memory, analyze competitor inspiration, generate carousel ideas and slide drafts, select background images, organize a content calendar, prepare captions and hashtags, export image packs, and manage connected TikTok or Instagram accounts where integrations are available.
2. Account and Access
You may be required to create an account with accurate information to use certain features of SlideMaker. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
Access to certain features may depend on your subscription plan, workspace settings, connected integrations, available credits, or platform permissions. If a subscription expires or required permissions are missing, your access may be limited until renewed or reconnected.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use SlideMaker to create, upload, generate, schedule, export, or distribute content that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, obscene, misleading, hateful, infringing, or otherwise objectionable.
You agree not to infringe on the intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or contractual rights of others; attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or another user's account; share your login credentials with unauthorized users; abuse, disrupt, or reverse engineer the Platform; or use the Platform in a way that violates the terms of connected third-party services such as TikTok, Instagram, Meta, Pinterest, or AI model providers.
You are responsible for ensuring that content you post or export complies with the content policies, advertising rules, and community guidelines of any platform where you publish it.
4. AI-Generated Content
SlideMaker uses artificial intelligence to generate carousel ideas, hooks, slide copy, captions, hashtags, CTAs, visual directions, image prompts, summaries, validation notes, and scheduling recommendations.
You are solely responsible for reviewing and approving any AI-generated content before publishing, exporting, or relying on it. We do not guarantee the accuracy, originality, legality, quality, performance, platform compliance, or fitness of AI-generated content for any particular purpose.
The Platform is intended to learn patterns and generate original drafts. You must not use it to copy competitor wording, clone scripts, imitate protected branding, reproduce copyrighted materials, make fake claims, or publish content that violates applicable laws or platform policies.
5. Image Rights and Reference Sources
You are responsible for ensuring that any uploaded images, Pinterest/reference images, stock images, AI-generated images, screenshots, logos, or other media used in your carousel content can legally be used by you.
Pinterest/reference image workflows are reference and user-responsibility modes. We do not claim Pinterest images are copyright-free, commercially licensed, or safe to use without permission.
You agree not to remove creator/source metadata where it is available and not to use images in a way that violates copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or licensing rights.
6. Connected Accounts and Platform Integrations
TikTok and Instagram integrations must use official platform APIs, authorized OAuth flows, and approved permissions. SlideMaker does not support password-based posting, scraping, browser automation, or unofficial posting methods.
Connected platforms may reject publishing requests, require app review, limit posting access, restrict unaudited apps, change their APIs, revoke permissions, or impose posting limits. We do not guarantee that platform publishing workflows will be available or successful.
If API posting fails or permissions are unavailable, manual ZIP export may remain available as a fallback.
7. Subscription and Billing
SlideMaker may offer free, trial, or paid subscription plans. By subscribing to a paid plan, you authorize us or our payment processor to charge your payment method on a recurring basis according to the plan you select.
You may cancel your subscription according to the cancellation process provided in the Platform. Unless required by law or stated otherwise, cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period and refunds are not provided for partial billing periods.
Feature limits, generation credits, storage limits, connected-account limits, or export limits may vary by plan.
8. User Data and Privacy
We collect and store user data including account information, workspace content, profile data, generated drafts, uploaded assets, connected-account metadata, and usage information as necessary to provide the Platform.
For details about how we collect, use, store, and protect your information, please review our Privacy Policy at /privacy.
9. Intellectual Property
SlideMaker retains ownership of all platform software, design, trademarks, workflows, systems, code, documentation, and other materials that are part of the Platform.
Content you create using the Platform belongs to you, subject to any rights, restrictions, licenses, or terms that apply to underlying AI models, uploaded assets, third-party services, stock images, platform APIs, or source materials you use.
You grant us the limited rights needed to host, process, display, generate, edit, schedule, export, and otherwise operate the Platform using the content and data you provide.
10. Service Availability
SlideMaker is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, limit, or discontinue any feature or service at any time without prior notice.
We do not guarantee uninterrupted, secure, or error-free service. The Platform may depend on third-party AI providers, storage providers, payment processors, and social platform APIs that are outside our control.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SlideMaker and its team shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform.
This includes, but is not limited to, data loss, revenue loss, account restrictions, platform takedowns, publishing failures, reputational harm, or damages resulting from AI-generated content or user-published content.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
13. Updates to the Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we may notify you by email, in-app notice, or by updating the date on this page.
Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
